Scholarships

It’s our belief that businesses like ours, as well as everyone from independent small business owners to large chains and restaurant groups should contribute equally to change. At the heart of MAD’s work to support the broader hospitality industry is our scholarships program.

Receiving a scholarship to MAD Academy is a career- and life-changing experience and it enables those who are a great fit for the program but lack the resources and support an opportunity to attend.

Scholarships differ, but most are awarded based on perceived financial need and an applicant’s demonstrated potential as a change maker in hospitality. With a limited number of scholarships, we encourage those applying to MAD Academy to first seek financial support from their employers or another sponsor.

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships cover all tuition, course materials and meals during school hours. All other costs, including travel, accommodation, and pocket money, remain the students full responsibility.

Available Scholarships

MAD Match Scholarships – Multiple Available

We offer a limited amount of MAD Match scholarships to those who can bring half the program fee. MAD will then support recipients in reaching their goals by matching the fee.

Criteria:

· This scholarship provides for 18,750 DKK (ex. Danish VAT), with equal contribution being required by the recipient in advance of the program.

MAD Academy Scholarship – Multiple Available

Supported by the Danish Ministry of Environment and Food (Miljø- og Fødevarministeriet) and private donations, these scholarships are available to anyone who is pursuing a career in hospitality anywhere in the world.

Criteria:

· These scholarships are awarded to exceptional applicants who demonstrate the motivation to lead in their communities and those willing to act to better the hospitality industry.
